 It’s an indescribable experience for the few adventurous that dare to know the glacier from the inside, since due to the global warming, it is in danger of falling apart at any moment. Located in Juneau in Southeast Alaska, the original inhabitants called it Sitaantaagu that means the glacier behind the town. With an extension of approximately 12 km, it has beautiful, majestic turquoise-blue internal caves and you will have to make a trip in kayak, do some ice climbing and take a long walk if you want to get to them and visit.
