For the first time in the history of the Museo del Prado of Madrid, an exhibition of works by the Flemish Renaissance painter Rogier van der Weyden, under the title of the same name appears.

The exhibition will be open to the public until June 28, gathers twenty works of the artist born in the French city of Tournai in 1399.

Van der Weyden was considered one of the great painters of his time, and his work is distributed in different countries, as the work "El Calvario", painted between 1456 and 1460 to the Charterhouse of Scheut (Brussels) and in 1509 came Burgos and in 1574 went to the Monastery of El Escorial (Madrid).
