The Paris Motor Show, like the Frankfurt Show, as a general rule, is an exhibitions chosen by most automobile manufacturers to show off their new models that will some arrive on the international markets, especially Europe.
Therefore, these motor shows are fully loaded with new models and dream cars. The Paris Motor Show was no exception with the unveiling of more than 60 models, between world launches and concept cars, of which several really stand out, namely the new Audi R8, a super sports car that will compete with the creations of Ferrari, Aston Martin and Porsche. The presence of the exclusive Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina stands out, as well as the Lamborghini Nera. We bring you, dear reader, an overview of these three beautiful models with all luxuriant detail.
Audi R8

15 Audi R8s are hand-built daily at the German plant at Neckarsulm and will go on sale in the spring of 2007, at a cost of 112,000.
It is a compact sports coupé (it measures 4.43 m long, 1.90 m wide and 1.25 m high), whose muscular and aggressive lines, inspired by the Le Mans Quattro concept car presented at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show, give it a very aggressive and captivating style.
The technologically innovative Audi Space Frame was used in the development of the chassis and bodywork, using an abundance of aluminum to achieve an extremely light- weight but solid structure. The car weighs a mere 1,558 kilos, which manifests itself at the wheel with very stable and dynamic behavior.
A race car
The new R8 Audi sports car with the centrally- mounted engine, many to achieve an excellent weight distribution of 44% front and 56% rear, which can be admired from the outside through a glass cover.
It has V8 4.2 liter engine with direct FSI fuel injection that develops 420 horsepower at 7,800 r.p.m. and an enormous constant torque of 317 lb/ft between 4,500 and 6,000 r.p.m., per- formance figures that are demonstrated in an extraordinary delivery of power from low revo- lutions that catapult the R8 from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 4.6 seconds and then on to reach a maximum speed of 301 km/h.
Power is controlled through a 6-speed manual gearbox or the optional sequential Audi R-tronic transmission, which can be oper- ated from the steering wheel. The traction is integral Quattro and the transmission is mounted with a central Torsen-type differen- tial that distributes power in a proportion of 40:60, enabling the immediate delivery of power between the axles in order to guarantee optimum traction power and stability at all times.

The Power of Dreams
This beautiful example is not a prototype, much less a future model The new Ferrari P4/5 is a unique work of art created by the Italian car designer Pininfarina to satisfy the whims of well-heeled lovers of speed and high specifications.
James Glickenhaus, a multi-millionaire collector of legendary competition prototypes of the 1960s, has paid 3.13 million to consummate his dream of owning a unique and exclusive race Ferrari.
That’s How Dreams are Made
In order to breathe life into the Ferrari P4/5, Pininfarina started with a mechanical base of the Ferrari Enzo, which has been crowned for having bodywork made completely of carbon fiber.
Through this thoroughbred, James Glickenhaus wishes to revive the powerful shapes of the mythi- cal Ferraris P4 and PS of the 1960s. In order to do this, 200 new components of being created including the bi-xenon headlights fitted with an innova- tive LED system, the 20" single-piece alloy wheels, while the interior has been completely remodeled in accordance with James Glickenhaus’s tastes and instructions.
Road Eater
The Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina weighs a mere 1,200 kilos, which added to its compact dimen- sions (4.63 meters long, 2.65 meters wide and 1.13 meters high), makes it an authentic racecar.
The 5,998 cc Vl2power plant develops 660 horsepower at 7,800 r.p.m (the maximum is 8,200 r.p.m.) and produces a maximum torque of 657 Nm at 5,500 r.p.m This enormous engine is coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission that takes the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.55 seconds and then on to a maximum speed of 362 km/h, figures which exceeds those of the Ferrari Enzo.
Lamborghini Gallardo Nera
The Power of Black
Only the fortunate few would have the privilege of keeping the special edition in their garage, and precisely because of its high price, but because Lamborghini will only sell 185 examples of this extraordinary car.
The Nera, which English means “black", is basical- ly a 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo 2007, with slight aes- thetic and interior modifications that give it a more exclusive and powerful image. The most important modification, without any doubt whatsoever, is the attractive tones of the bodywork, which will be offered in “Nero Serapis” and “Nero Noctis” black, alternating the glossy finish with a matte black finish of the casings of the rearview mirrors, the roof, the rear ailerons, the front panel and the rear spoiler.
Other details, such as the silvered brake disks and tinted light dusters or contribute to giving it a very elegant and aggressive look.
Big Power
As we said before, the Lamborghini Gallardo Nera is mechanically identical to the 2007 Gallardo; there- fore, is powered by the S-liter V10 engine that pro- duces 520 horsepower at 8,000 r.p.m and a torque of 376 lb/ft at 4,500 r.p.m, which propels it from 0 tolOO km/h in four seconds with a maximum speed of 315 km/h. This super sports car will go on sale at the beginning of2007, and although its price is still to be disclosed, sources close to Lamborghini have indicat- ed that it will cost in the region of 165,000.
