Technology is based on a similar principle, and current advances allow us to make an evolutionary leap year. In the case of cars, car manufacturers compete each year by offering not only speed and comfort, but the unique experience that both provide.

This is the case of the Eventra, from the Italian firm Faralli & Mazzanti, which projects past and future combined in perfect balance. Although many details about this new supercar are yet to be known, the exterior already flaunts the lines of a true classic.

On its own, Hennessey introduced the Venom GT Spyder, which is a direct successor to the successful Venom GT, and an indirect one to the Lotus Exige and Elise. This time, the U.S. firm presents a convertible equipped with a V8 engine that exceeds 400 kilometers per hour, which certainly promises an intense driving experience.

Finally, the Ferrari 599 GTO is slowly positioning as a car with self-recognition, not only for being the immediate offspring of the 599 GTB Fiorano. The car now holds much more aerodynamic lines, giving it a much more sporty and challenging.

Faralli & Mazzanti

Evantra

Although his name is not well known within the car universe, Faralli & Mazzanti Italian house slowly begins to position your name. And to achieve its consolidation, introduces now to the high-end market its latest creation: Evantra.

After months of anticipation, the Evantra emerges from the shadows in which was hidden, under the name of “Mugello”, to show off its enigmatic lines, whose design was provided by Luca Mazzanti (co-founder of the firm) and Zsolt Tarnok.

The appearance of the car combines modern features, such as the aggressive lines of the headlamps, with traces of the past, creating the perfect balance in a supercar. Emphasize its doors combination diagonal / suicide in the style of a Lamborghini. It is noteworthy that for its creation, the Evantra can build in two ways: one is Pro-Body, which is made based on composite materials and the second, called One-Body, which consists of hand making the whole body with aluminum.

According to F&M, the engine of the Evantra will be a 6-cylinder boxer 3.5-liter, which will provide an output of 403 horsepower, but the Italian car manufacturer is also developing the option of a Twin Turbo engine with an output of 603 Hp. This is projected to be able to go from 0 to 100 km in 3.7 seconds.

Also Faralli & Mazzanti announced that only five of these units will be manufactured during the first year of production, which will definitely put the Evantra listed within the exclusive world of sports cars.

Hennessey Venom

GT Spyder

The Venom GT was introduced in 2011 as an unspoken successor to the Lotus Exige, being based on the latter’s chassis, but with several updates and modifications. However, this creation by Hennessey made its own reputation and quickly positioned itself in the liking of velocity lovers.

Now, the U.S. car manufacturer introduces a version that will undoubtedly catch the attention of the automotive world, by including more sporty details. For this new version, which bears the name Venom GT Spyder, the Lotus Elise was taken as a basis, thus various aspects of the car were modified and expanded.

Something that certainly stands out from the Venom GT Spyder is that is a convertible, certainly a feature that will provide a much more intense driving experience if we consider the speed at which this car can run, a fact that we’ll address further. Constructed from a composite of fiberglass, the lines of this model are similar to those of his coupe brother, but adopt a much more streamlined spirit.

The Spyder Venom GT will feature a V8 engine with an output of 1,200 hp. With this machinery, the car can go from 0 to 100 km in 2.5 seconds, 322 km in 15.9 seconds. It also can reach a top speed of 443 kilometers per hour. Furthermore, the V8 engine is connected with the rear wheels through a transmission 6-speed Ricardo C.

This automotive jewel, however, will not be produced by hundreds or even dozens of models, since Hennessey announced its intention to manufacture, during its first year, only five specimens of the Venom GT Spyder.

Ferrari 599 GTO

In 2006, Ferrari brought to light what is now one of its most representative models: the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Considered the direct successor to the Ferrari 575M Maranello, is equipped with the same engine from the iconic Ferrari Enzo.

With an important lineage on its back, the Ferrari 599 GTO is presented as a GTB Fiorano limited edition, it will be manufactured only 599 specimens of this exclusive model. And although it is another car’s different version, the 599 GTO has features that differ substantially from its predecessor. The first is the name GTO, or Grand Turismo Omologata, that only two other cars in the history of the firm have used: the 250 GTO (1962) and the 288 GTO (1984).

The exterior design is virtually equal to that of GTB Fiorano, however, with details that enhance aerodynamic performance, such as  the air intakes to cool the engine, while inside, ceramic disc brakes were added, magnetic suspensions SCM2, traction control F1-Trac, 20-inch sports tires and ABS system.

Meanwhile, the interiors have not changed much compared to the GTB Fiorano, both the steering wheel and main panel are identical. However, something that did change was the instruments, and a series of buttons were added as well in the lower main panel. Also, the 599 GTO seats are bucket type now.

With a 620 hp V12 engine, the car can reach 100 km per hour in 3.3 seconds and achieve progress to 335 km per hour maximum speed. This capability is due in part to the 599 GTO’s 1.680 kg, 85 kg less than its big brother, through the use of lightweight materials such as carbon fiber.
