In a joint effort to care for both the health and economy of the industry, the event’s organizers, brands, collectors and jewelers will make the most prestigious watchmaking event in Latin America one of the few face-to-face meetings of 2020.

This year, the SIAR (Salón Internacional Alta Relojería) in Mexico, will be held from October 20th to 22nd at The St. Regis hotel in Mexico City, with the participation of 36 companies.

To carry out the event, a rigorous health prevention protocol has been established to avoid possible contagion of Covid-19, and to take care of the health of each of its participants. Therefore, to avoid crowds, the pre-registration of visitors will be done online, and stay of up two hours on the day of the event and a maximum of 250 people per module.

Temperature filters, an air purification system, signage, and alcohol gel stations will also be installed. While each brand will ensure that all keep the proper distance from each other.

The official sponsors of the event are Mercedes-Benz and Möet Hennessy, and there will be a virtual presence of the nominees for the Grand Prix d´Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) 2020. At the moment, among the brand that have confirmed their participation are: : Girard-Perregaux, Hublot, IWC Schaffhausen, Jacob & Co., Louis Moinet, Piaget, Vacheron Constantin y Zenith, to mention a few.
