Stefano Domenicale, CEO of the Bologna-based brand, commented: “With a visionary approach, we were able to merge Lamborghini’s DNA with the most versatile vehicle to create this super SUV.” Hinting at the Lamborghini tradition of being linked to the bullfighting world, the Urus takes its name from a breed of bulls, also known as Au- rochs, which is one of the largest and oldest castes known. The Spanish bull, bred for more than 500 years, is still very much like an Urus bull. The pilot can choose between three driving modes: “STRADA,” “TERRA” (for off-roadmoments), ”NEVE” (if you intend to get to Nevado de Toluca) and “SABBIA” (if you enter the dunes of some beautiful coast of our country). In addition, this super SUV has a rear differential that has “active torque vectoring” and manages to instantly send power to each tire individually to improve trac- tion depending on the selected driving mode, the driver’s driving style and the grip of the highway at that moment. Haciendo alusión a la tradición de Lamborghini de estar ligado con el mundo de la tauromaquia, la Urus toma su nombre de una raza de toros, también conocida como Aurochs, la cual es de las castas más grandes y antiguas que se conocen. El toro español, criado desde hace más de 500 años, aún sigue siendo muy parecido a un toro Urus. El piloto puede escoger entre tresmodos demanejo: STRADA, TERRA (para momentos todo-terreno), NEVE (si pretenden llegar al Nevado de Toluca) y SABBIA (si entran a las dunas de alguna hermosa costa de nuestro país). Además, esta súper SUV tiene un diferencial tra- sero que cuenta con “active torque vectoring” y logra mandar potencia de manera instantánea a cada llanta individualmente para mejorar la tracción dependiendo el modo demanejo seleccionado, el estilo demanejo del conductor y el agarre de la carretera en ese instante. 1.2.
