Riviera Nayarit se caracteriza por lujosos centros
vacacionales y hoteles boutique, áreas turísticas de
gran belleza como Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerías, Flamingos,
La Cruz de Huanacaxtle Punta de Mita, las Islas Marie-
tas, San Francisco, Sayulita, Lo de Marcos, Destilade-
ras, el Rincón de Guayabitos y San Blas, entre otros.
Cuenta con un buen número de las mejores playas
de México, sin embargo, la actividad de sol y playa es
sólo una pequeña parte de lo que ofrece a los visitantes.
Ofrece una gama de actividades como ecoturismo,
turismo cultural y de aventura, golf profesional, una exu-
berante vida silvestre, avistamiento de ballenas, pesca
deportiva, arribazón de tortugas, gastronomía, tirolesa,
buceo, nado con delfines, convenciones y festivales.
La gastronomía es otra de las grandes riquezas de
México y en especial la que se encuentra en la región
de Bahía de Banderas, pues las opciones y la variedad,
tanto en tipo de cocina como en precios, son muchas.
Un importante proyecto en marcha es Litibú, un de-
sarrollo de primer nivel que en un corto plazo ofrecerá,
entre otros atractivos, hoteles boutique, un helipuerto,
hospitales, centros comerciales y campos de golf.
Punta de Mita es otro de los rincones que quita el

turtle arrival, gastronomy, Tyrolese, diving, swim-
ming with dolphins, conventions and festivals.
Gastronomy is also one of Mexico’s greatest
richness, specially the one found in the Banderas
Bay region, since the options and variety of cui-
sine types as well as in prices are many.
An important project recently launched is
