urante el año hay momentos en los que la tran-
sición de estaciones pareciera ser eterna. Por un
lado, el invierno brinda sus últimas notas, y nos
encontramos a la espera de que la primavera haga su
début officiel
; mientras tanto el clima presenta variacio-
nes tan inesperadas que a veces es difícil entender lo
que sucede. Y encontramos que este tiempo de vigilia
se presenta sin consuelo en el guardarropa.
Por tal motivo, las casas de moda más importan-
tes también han percibido que entre cada temporada
oficial existe una excelente oportunidad para lanzar
un repertorio extra: las Colecciones Crucero.
Estas colecciones constan, como su nombre bien lo
dice, de prendas y accesorios diseñados especialmente
para aquéllos que deciden equipar los baúles y dirigirse
hacia los sitios más exóticos, donde el clima no sor-
prenda con golpes inesperados. Para algunas firmas
estas colecciones no son más que un avance de la tem-
porada primaveral, pues habrá quien sin más decida no
salir y quedarse en la ciudad, pero eso sí, siempre guar-
dando el estilo y adelantándose un poco al clima.

implies, garments and accessories designed spe-
cially for those who decide to pack their cases and
head off to more exotic climes where there are no
sudden changes in the weather. For some fashion
houses, these collections are no more than an
advance in the spring season, but there will be
those who decide not to leave the city but will
always remain stylish and cheering up the weather.
