El cliente tiene todas las facilidades para crear el jet conforme a sus gustos y preferencias. Los amplios espacios interiores –26.11 m de largo por 2.13 m de altura–, permiten la definición de diversas áreas, incluido un dormitorio con ducha, comedor y cocina de lujo, así como zonas de trabajo. A bordo, el BBJ MAX 7 ofrece la misma sección transversal del BBJ ori- ginal, donde los pasajeros pueden moverse con facilidad. Una vez aco- modado en el asiento, cada viajero cuenta con un área para laborar, con excelente conexión a internet y contactos USB. El BBJ MAX 7 presenta una sensación de altitud de cabina inferior a la de otros jets. En el interior, la altitud nunca supera los 1,980 m, incluso en la máxima altitud crucero (12,500 m). En una misión de largo alcance, la altitud promedio experimentada será de 1,700 m. En cuanto a tecnología, el BBJ MAX 7 fue el primer modelo equipado con winglets –un desarrollo de Boeing que data de 1998 – unas aletas coloca- das en los extremos de las alas, con la finalidad de ahorrar combustible. Recientemente, Boeing lamejoró con el winglet MAX Advanced Technology, que emplea el flujo laminar natural para reducir la resistencia del aire duran- te el vuelo, al mismo tiempo que aumenta la envergadura efectiva. The customer has all the facilities to create the jet according to his tastes and preferences. The spacious interiors – 85 ft 8 in length by 6 ft 9 high – allow the definition of several areas, including a bedroomwith shower, dining room and luxury galley, as well as work areas. On board, the BBJ MAX 7 offers the same cross-section as the origi- nal BBJ, where passengers can move around with ease. Once settled in the seat, each traveler has an area to work, with excellent internet con- nection and USB ports. The BBJ MAX 7 has a lower cabin altitude feel than other jets. In- side, altitude never exceeds 6,496 ft, even at maximum cruising alti- tude (41,010 ft). On a long-range mission, the average altitude experi- enced will be 5,577 ft. In terms of technology, the BBJ MAX 7was the firstmodel equipped with winglets – a Boeing development dating back to 1998 – a fin placed on the wingtips, with the aim of saving fuel. Boeing recently upgraded it with the MAX Advanced Technology winglet, which uses natural laminar flow to reduce air resistance during flight while in- creasing effective wingspan. A member of the BBJ MAX family, the MAX 7 was fitted with the new CFM LEAP-1P engines, which combine the efficiency of the Boe- ing 787 with the high cycle of the Boeing 737; equipped with an op- timized core and a fan 7.8 in larger than that of the current Boeing 737, the BBJ MAX 7 extends its range to 7,000 nm, an advantage over competing bizliners.
