Lo mejor del continente
Sin duda, uno de los sucesos más emocionantes de
la Bridgestone America’s Golf Cup será la partici-
pación de Tiger Woods, quien con 14 títulos de un
major, se ha ganado un lugar entre los golfistas más
importantes de todos los tiempos.
Tras varios años de ausencia, después de su vic-
toria en la Copa del Mundo del 2000 en el Buenos Ai-
res Golf Club, Tiger regresa a Argentina para repre-
sentar a su país, Estados Unidos, en la Bridgestone
America’s Golf Cup, sin embargo por una lesión no le
fue posible jugar. La presencia de quien fuera el nú-
mero uno del mundo, apoya en gran medida a esta
iniciativa en la promoción y consolidación del golf
en América.
Con el objetivo de continuar desarrollando el
golf en el continente, la Bridgestone America’s Golf
Cup se realizará anualmente en diferentes países de
toda América, consolidando la copa y brindándole
una tradición instantánea, la cual se acrecentará
año tras año y cuya trascendencia internacional
tiende a potencializarse, en gran medida, debido al
inigualable talento americano.

No doubt, one of the most exciting happenings
in the Bridgestone America’s Golf Cup will be the
participation of Tiger Woods, who with 14 major
titles, has won a place among the foremost golf-
ers of all time.
After an absence of several years, following
his win in the 2,000 World Cup, in the Buenos Ai-
res Golf Club, Tiger returns to Argentina to rep-
resent his country, the US, in the Bridgestone
America’s Golf Cup. Nevertheless, due to an in-
jury he could not play. The presence of the former
world’s number one greatly supports this initia-
tive for the promotion and consolidation of golf
in the American Continent.
Aiming at the continuation of golf develop-
ment in the continent, the Bridgestone America’s
Golf Cupwill be celebrated yearly in different coun-
tries, in all of the American Continent, in order
to consolidate the cup and give it an instant ever
growing tradition, year after year; its international
transcendence tending to gain power, mainly due
to the unmatched American talent.
