The creators of this project say that the data
obtained will be very valuable and they will com-
pare it to one generated by the professional pilots.
Each client signs up for the program when
they buy one of the 20 cars that will be made. The
price, close to 1.5 million euros, makes the owner
an integral part of the Ferrari team and includes
the right to participate in a series of official events
which will take place on world-class circuits dur-
ing the following two years.
In addition to the official events, FXX owners
will have the right to use their vehicle in private
training sessions and, for those who may want to,
leave the car at Maranello and have Ferrari take care
of transporting the car to each track in Europe.
The car has not been approved for street use
yet, so it cannot be signed in to official GT compe-
titions. However, speaking frankly… How different
is the FXX from the Ferrari Enzo? Not very. In a
costly project like this, and taking into considera-
tion the amount of information that 20 pilots will
gather and submit to the analysis of Ferrari
experts, without mentioning that developing a
competition tire for only 20 cars is unaffordable, it
is not farfetched to think that the red brand has
something up its sleeve concerning high level GT
competition.

Los datos adquiridos dentro de este proyecto, según
sus creadores, serán muy valiosos, y serán comparados
con aquellos generados por los pilotos profesionales. Ca-
da cliente se inscribe dentro del programa al comprar uno
de los 20 autos que se fabricarán. El precio, que ronda los
1.5 millones de euros, coloca a su propietario como parte
integral del equipo Ferrari, incluye además el derecho a
participar en una serie de eventos oficiales durante los
próximos dos años, que se llevarán a cabo sobre circuitos
de clase mundial.
Además de los eventos oficiales, los dueños de un
FXX tendrán derecho a utilizar su vehículo en sesiones
privadas de entrenamiento, y quienes así lo deseen po-
drán dejarlo en Maranello y Ferrari se ocupará de trans-
portarlo hasta cada una de las pistas de Europa.
El auto aún no se ha homologado para circular por las
calles, por lo que no puede ser inscrito como un GT en
competencias oficiales. Sin embargo, seamos honestos,
¿qué tan lejos está el FXX del Ferrari Enzo? No mucho, en
un proyecto como éste, por su precio y por el volumen
de información que acumularán 20 pilotos para que los
especialistas de Ferrari los analicen, sin mencionar que
desarrollar un neumático de competencia para sólo 20
autos es incosteable, no es descabellado intuir que la
casa escarlata se trae algo entre manos apuntando ha-
cia la competencia al más alto nivel de los GT. Especu-
lando, quizás con el Enzo, o tal vez con alguna versión
homologada del FXX.
