T
he famous palace reopened its doors in December
1999, following two years of remodelation. Under
the administration of the Four Seasons, and after
seven years, the George V has confirmed its status as
the “king of palaces” and is regarded as the finest hotel
in Paris; the one that stands out and offers the refine-
ment that the most beautiful city in the world
deserves.
Jeff Leatham is one of the stars of the hotel. He has
an enormous budget at his disposal and uses flowers to
create magic scenarios, playing with long stems and
huge vases, upending the heads of calla lilies so they
are submerged in the water, arranging floating orchids
and scattering forms, colors and volumes with extreme
elegance.
The other luminary has three dazzling stars: the
luxurious and elegant Le Cinq restaurant. Because of
its marvelous décor, it is a window to a time long
bygone age and it tempts diners to enjoy the dishes of
Philippe Legendre, one of the most renowned chefs of
Paris. He has received various awards and presents
