oday we set sail to new seas, on our way to a
beautiful, enchanting island in the heart of the
Caribbean: Puerto Rico. It is a tropical garden
pounded by high waves and filled with legends of the
sea and of the arrival of Spanish galleons in the hey-
day of pirates.
Puerto Rico is a colorful stroll, a string of long,
white sand beaches with bays separated by small
cliffs. It is a fascinating, captivating island of friendly
people who chat in the shady portals of their homes
or dance when the fresh night arrives.
We adjust our compass, take a new direction and
reach our local destination: Loreto, in Baja California
Sur. It features an important hotel and services infra-
structure and, these days, is the region’s pole of eco-
nomic and tourism development.
As representatives of impressive lengths, in our
Fleet section we chose the stunning Athena 115, by the
renowned Italian shipbuilder Riva, and an English gen-
tleman, the Sunseeker 108, of the Predator range.
Because of its innovative design, we selected the Wally
Sail Y3Kand, for its luxuriousbeauty, theHatteras80MY.
And, last but not least, the efficient, esthetic Alden 43.
To open our Toys Cars section, we feature three
models that carry the “S” and “V” initials which are syn-
onymous with sportiness and luxury in its utmost
expression: Jaguar Super V8 Portfolio, Cadillac STS-V
and Audi S8. These are fitting examples of the trend to
combine the elegance and comfort of a luxury auto-
mobile with the power of a sports car.
In the exclusive Rendez Vous fashion section, we
present an advance of spring styles so that our readers
can be prepared to welcome the sun’s rays with the
appropriate clothing and gadgets… as chic as possible!
Enjoy select, exclusive creations by themost prestigious

oy zarpamos hacia nuevos mares, rumbo a una
isla bella y encantadora, corazón de la vida cari-
beña: Puerto Rico. Un jardín tropical con altas
olas, donde se escuchan las leyendas del mar como
cuando llegaban los galeones españoles en tiempo de
los piratas.
Un paseo de colores, una sucesión de playas largas
de arena blanca, con bahías, separadas por pequeños
acantilados. Una isla encantadora, que fascina gracias a
su gente, que platica a la sombra del umbral de las casas
o baila cuando llega la noche con su frescura.
Al ajustar la brújula tomamos rumbo a un destino
nacional ubicado en Baja California Sur: Loreto, que hoy
se ha convertido en un polo de desarrollo económico y
turístico de la región, con una importante infraestructu-
ra hotelera y de servicios.
En nuestra sección Flota, para grandes esloras
escogimos a un representante del prestigiado astillero
italiano Riva, el modelo 115 Athena; como un crisol de
belleza, el modelo 108 del caballero inglés Sunseeker
(de su gama Predator). Por innovador, el Wally Sail Y3K.
Por lujo y belleza el Hatteras 80 MY. Finalmente, por
funcionalidad y estética el Alden 43.
Para abrir nuestra sección Toys Autos elegimos tres
modelos que llevan las iniciales “S” y “V”, sinónimo de de-
