To commemorate the 1953 victory of the Porsche 550 Coupé Spyder in the Carrera Panamericana over a 718 Cayman GT4 RS, the Stuttgart-based company has designed a commemorative model called Sonderwunsch TAG Heuer and Porsche-Leyendas de la Panamericana project. Seventy years after the feat, two exclusive cars inspired by the Porsche 550 Spyder Coupé Spyder have been created, named Porsche 718 Cayman RS Carrera Panamericana Special. Both collector's models were developed in the Porsche Special Request workshop in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen with the help of Style Porsche, the company's archive, Porsche Latin America and in partnership with TAG Heuer. The LeMans look was applied to the pair of cars with a special color tone that is repeated on many elements, including the wheels.
