Extreme • adventurous • adrenaline Hay un ingrediente común y cotidiano, que si lo tomásemos en cuenta conjuraría el miedo de nuestras vidas: Todo puede ser mortal, así es vivir. Y el desafío que vencen los apasionados al cielo y el aire lo han llevado al límite. Se expone algo y se apuesta por ello a expensas del costo en tiempo, patrimonio, anhelos … La vida se basa en imponderables que, más que una excepción, son una regla y vienen de todos los tipos; desde cotidianos simples, a sucesos impactantes que marcan un antes y un después, a los que algunas personas reaccionan volviéndose cuidadosos. Del otro lado están quienes buscan experimentar aventuras extremas que, mientras más inverosímiles en cuanto a la capacidad humana que desafían, mucho mejor, porque la corriente de adrenalina será equivalente. Pensar en una antología de deportes extremos es tarea difícil. Lejos está en el tiempo la década de los 90 cuando comenzaron a conocerse, hasta llegar al auge que protagonizan actualmente. There is a common, everyday ingredient, which if we were to take into consideration it would conjure the fear of our lives: Everything can be deadly, that’s life. And yet, the challenge passionate people overcome both in the sky and air has taken this ingredient to the limit. Something is exposed and bet upon in expense of the cost of time, patrimony, desires… Life is based on imponderables that, more than an exception, are rules and come in all types. They span from simple daily ones to impacting events that establish a before and after, to which some people’s reaction is becoming careful. On the other side, we have those that search for more extreme adventures that the more improbable it is to defy human capability the better, since the adrenaline current will be equivalent.
