Mercedes-Benz and McLaren crown their SLR super sports car line, with the spectacular Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss, a roadster that evokes the powerful shapes and spirits of the myt- hical “Silver Arrow”, the 300 SLR from the 50’s.
This exclusive and limited edition will be avai- lable starting June this year, and only 7 S units will be made, which will be only delivered to previous Mercedes SLR owners. With this model, Mercedes- Benz wants to pay homage to the legendary British pilot Sir Stirling Crawford Moss.
The long and low carbon fiber chassis is surprising for its enlarged front, crowned by air intakes, the colossal cooling intakes, its flashy headlights and rear view mirrors evoking the SLR design from the 50’s.
It’s powerful look is crowned on the sides by gills, as well as the generous stainless steel exhaust pipe -two on each side, located just behind the wheels, just like the classic Mercedes 300 SLR.
On the back, the deflector with air intakes and its attractive LED taillights, call out for attention as well.
In combination with the exterior, the cockpit is very minimalist and it’s decorated with leather, carbon fiber and polished aluminum for a more sportive look.
