Helping others in a selfless way is a praiseworthy work, worthy of admiration, and that is the mission of Fundación Renace IAP, where men and women of low income and in a street situation who suffer from some kind of addiction are cared for.
In order to raise funds and continue with the objective of Fundación Renace, the Sierra Roffe family, together with the organization "Luchando por la Vida", will hold ARTness on October 19, in the main hall of Grupo Foresta in Mexico City.
ARTness is an event designed to be a visual and auditory experience, where attendees can listen to live music, while admiring and bidding for the works of ten emerging artists and participate in the raffle of different prizes offered by the sponsors of the event, in addition to having dynamics with their benefactors as is the case of "The Tree of Rebirth" where they will recognize their support and participation through a digital sphere with a commemorative design.
Recently, and thanks to the support of "Luchando por la Vida", Fundación Renace repaired the facilities of the rehabilitation clinic located in downtown Mexico City, including new bedrooms and bathrooms, an auditorium and an infirmary where 70 people are attended daily.
In addition to continuing to raise funds for the operation and maintenance of the clinic, a scholarship is planned for a psychologist to specialize in addiction and mental health treatment.
Clarita Sierra
Clarita Sierra, one of the Foundation's benefactors and organizer of ARTness, is the author of the book Fighting for life (one of the best sellers on Amazon in 2016); a psychologist and therapist specializing in addictions. She conducts prevention talks on addictions in schools for parents, teaching staff and adolescents. "All the donations I receive for my talks, plus the sale of the book, go to support (Fundación) Renace," comments the author, who also gives private consultations, where she works with families who have a loved one with an addiction.
