The tradition of a car manufacturer is something inspiring and magical that m takes great interest in the experience that is to own and enjoy one of these machines. The legacy behind each brand defines its values, the names of their creations and their aesthetic. No matter what they had to go through, the dreams and aspirations of the founders are now the heritage that supports their brands.

The year 1913 witnessed the union between Robert Bamford and Lionel Martin, two men who had a passion for tuning and racing Singer sports cars when this was considered a novelty. The following year the enterprise was changed from Bamford & Martin to Aston Martin, right after the success achieved in the mountain ascent of Aston Clinton in Buckhamshire, England. This also inspired them to create their own cars. In 1947 the company was bought by David Brown, who continued taking the brand even further, while adding his initials to each of the models: DB.

William Lyons and William Walmsley founded Swallow Sidecar Company in Blackpool, England, in 1922. The company produced sidecars and evolved step by step to building full body structures over other manufacturers, such as the popular Austin Seven and several Fiat, which lead to developing their own car called the Standard Swallow. After WWII it was more than obvious that the initials S.S. wouldn’t be welcomed due to their relation to the Schutzstaffel emblem of Nazi Germany, forcing them to change the brand’s name to “Jaguar".

In 1947 Ferrari was born as a car manufacturer, aitgr nearly two decades of being a successful racing team of Scuderia Ferrari Gran Prix with Alfa Romeo cars. Its leader and founder, Enzo Ferrari, began producing streetcars in order to afford his racing expenses,, all in hopes of being the fastest on the track. Ferrari was established in the town of Maranello, which became an obligated visit for any devout admirer of the brand.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

As usual, in Ferrari a car's name is related to it's engine: 5999 cubic centimeters of cylinders, followed by its configuration: Gran Turimo Berlinetta, and, finally, as something evocative of Ferrari’s history: the name of the test track which was built in the 1970 by Enzo Ferrari. Every Ferrari produced since 1972 has gone through that track including, of course, the Formula Ones.

The 599 GTB Fiorano took the place of the 575 GGTB and has become the pinnacle for Ferrari’s front engine coupes, a configuration that the firm’s founder would prefer. It has a VI2 engine derived from the one that once empowered the legendary Enzo, adjusted to the latest FI transmission, which changes gears in less than two milliseconds, expanding the relation between the “pure bloods” and the street cars even further as a tradition in Ferrari.

It was designed by Pininfarina under the direction of Frank Stephenson. It shows a stylized profile and a prominent hood which guards the great 620 hp V12 engine, which was onl^modified to be lower seeing as the ffizo’s was mounted in the centre.

The S99if B Fiorano’s sole purpose is to be a fast continental cruise vehicle more than a raging sports car, although it can very well achieve to be both with the samWisposition, aside from the mechanic and aesthetic perfection.

Aston Martin DBS Carbon Black Special Edition

The DBS was created as an upgraded version of the DB9, optimized in aerodynamics, suspension and enough technical features to fill the space between the racing DBR9 and the standard model. With the sole intention of offering the purest racing experience without excluding the comfort and luxury that is synonym with Aston Martin. It’s easy to understand why the smoothest spy in fiction, James Bond, has been associated with Aston Martin since its arrival to the big screen.

The Carbon Black edition features a unique paint finish, in black or graphite, with a subtle metallic touch that gives it a mòre singular appeal. Real carbon fibre is used to reduce the front seats by 17 kg, which are dressed in rich obsidian black leather. Danish specialist Bang & Olufsen developed a special audio system for the DBS, making it a delightful hearing experience.

Details in black chrome, which keeps the shine both inside and out to a minimum, yet emphasizes just how profoundly menacing this limited example appears. The only glimmer comes from its diamond forged rims.

It's astounding VI2 six litre engine delivers 510 hp capable of taking it up to 307 km/h, while the suspension has an active shock absorbent adjustment mode that varies accordingly to most situations, including a race track appropriate mode.

Jaguar XJ
