The revamped Hummer H2 SUV, one of the best off roaders on the planet, has undergone substantial changes in its exterior appearance. It now offers a more luxurious, attractive and functional cabin and its drive train and engine have been significantly improved to make it even more powerful.

BMW X6

The first Crossover Coupe

The BMWX6 is the first Sport Activity Coupe that will arrive in Mexico in the middle of this year from the BMW plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA. Its appearance is unique and very attractive since the designers have conjugated the strong lines of an SUV with the athletic and stylized shape of a thoroughbred coupe.

Spacious and luxurious

Once aboard, the BMW X6 is generously spacious both in the front and the rear. The steering wheel has levers to control gear changes and other functions. Entertainment for the rear passengers comes in the form of a retractable DVD screen between the two front seats.

Sporty handing

This Sport Utility Coupe will be available in two mod- els: the xDriveSOi and the xDrive3Si. The first version has a 4.4 liter V8 engines, Twin Turbo technology and direct gasoline injection that develops 400 HP and a torque of 609 Nm The xDrive3Si is powered by a 3.S liter six cylinder in line engine that produces 300 HP and 406 Nm of torque. Both versions are coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Besides the four-wheel drive that comes as standard on all versions, the X6 unveils Dynamic Performance Control, a total intelligent traction control system that works to correct over- and understeer by spreading out drive forces between the front and rear axles (depending on each situa- tion). According to its creators, it is the only auto in the world capable of increasing stability during both acceleration and braking.

The cabin of the Hummer H2 2008 has been completely redesigned to make it more luxurious, practical and comfortable, but without sacrificing the Hummer’s legendary toughness. The instrument panel is completely new and is noted for its great visibility and easy reading.

The Hummer H2 2008 incorporates a powerful engine. It boasts a totally aluminum small-block 6.2 liter Vortec V8 that develops 393 HP, 20% more powerful than the current model and a torque of 415 lb/ft. This power is controlled through a new Hydra Matic 6L80 six-speed automatic transmission, which provides it with better on and offroad performance and response.

The driving performance, both on and off road, has been improved by an updated steering gear that has a master ratio and an improved capacity to return to center. The drive is silent and precise thanks to the air intake and output systems.
