Tradition and distinction

With a tradition of 35 years, the Grupo Estoril restaurants are a guarantee of Mexican haute cuisine and a refined and comfortable atmosphere.

The Estoril opened its doors 35 years ago, in Calle de Génova, in the Zona Rosa area of Mexico City, which was a tourist and business center in the 1970s.

Mrs. Rosa Margarita Martin and Mr. Guillaume Martin founded what is today a gastronomic institution in Mexico City and is extending to the beach tourist destinations, thanks to the talent and creativity of Chef Pedro Ortega and the service of the team that has been formed from then.

The Estoril is characterized by its comfortable and refined atmosphere where personalities from the social, political and business worlds of Mexico and abroad come to dine. Chef Pedro Ortega has been from the  beginning and today, the creative essence of the already traditional dishes of the Estoril, and of the development of new dishes introduced over time in the original Estoril and the new restaurants of the Group.

 

 

The presence of a single Chef throughout the entire history of this restaurant is a guarantee of quality.

35 years later, Guillaume Martín de Giau is the general director and continues the tradition of his parents by offering excellent personalized attention with the Pedro’s same gastronomic quality.

Today, Grupo Estoril offers various alternatives in Mexico City, such as the Estoril Polanco, which has been open for 20 years, the Bistro Estoril in Santa since 2003 and Syrah will soon be opened in Antara Polanco. Bistro del Mar, in Playa Madera, Zihuatanejo has been operating as it Beach restaurant for three years.
