HHere, the typical Pershing qualities of sporting style, speed and control have been further enhanced, as the new Pershing 80’, brainchild of yacht designer Fulvio De Simoni, has once again been specifically designed to offer owners high performance. Offering an incredible peak speed of 50 knots.

The craft’s internal layout also reveals a series of refined features. The leather pilot house, for example, is a real jewel designed exclusively by Poltrona Frau.

This boat boasts numerous refined features, such as the elegant slideaway glass partition, designed in collaboration with Besenzoni. This design provides an even more modular solution to the option of closing the cockpit off from the upper saloon or joining the two environments together to create a huge and harmonious open space that is all on the same level.

The extendable retractable hard top with its special twin electrical drive is outstanding the aim here has been to offer owners the utmost flexibility, a principle that can also be seen in the luxurious furnishing, on entering from the stern there is a vast L shaped sofa on the right, whereas a smaller sofa is located in the centre. This has been deliberately designed so it can slide easily across to the other couch to create a vast horseshoe shaped settee.

In the centre, 1 large pouf can be put together to make a chaise longue, or joined with the sofas to create a single huge relaxation area. Poltrona Frau has also fitted these elements with a convenient stowaway wooden tray.

A retractable flat TV screen is positioned on the port wall whereas to enhance comfort and functionality in this part of the boat, a separate dining area has been created towards the stem. This includes a dining table accompanied by a series of wallmoun- ted cupboards for storing dinnerware.

Practicality and hitech design also distinguishes the spacious cockpit. Three sofas upholstered in a wa- terproof fabric, a cocktail cabinet with a built in sink, a teak table and a barbecue. Every tiny detail in this area has been specially created to make socializing onboard free, elegant and inspired.

The central area of the sundeck, for example, transforms into a spacious lunch table: the top surface is designed to be lifted thanks to an electrically operated telescopic support, while the bench slides manually thanks to a concealed guide system.

The garage is also fitted with a special section of floor that can be lowered to facilitate the launch and docking of the RXP Sea Doo Jet Ski and the Williams 325 Jet Tender. These facilities are completed by the Genius gangplank, a device that doubles as a swimming ladder and a walkway onto the quay.

Below decks, the craft’s typically megayacht style and floorplan continues. The galley, has been sepa- rated from the saloon and can be accessed from the crew quarters to offer guests even more privacy and allows the owner to organise life onboard even more efficiently. The exceptionally large L shaped galley that is completely separated from the night zone and equipped with a dinette and stowaway table is a modem, comfortable and discreet environment.

The night is an outstanding example of comfort and design. The unique open view maxi window in the Master Cabin, situated in the centre of the boat, is a remarkably light and airy feature (especially thanks to the openable porthole set into the glass).

Today, the new Pershing 80’ is an example of how the shipyard continues to raise its standards in order to offer owners and guests a new way of “surprising the future”, and to enhance the ultimate experience of luxury at sea.
