The Tallest

This time, Amura presents a 56 mt sailboat from Perini Navi from whose main feature is that it possesses the tallest mast in the world and made out of aluminum. And that’s not all, the mast and deck design are the work of naval architect Ron Holland.

The new aluminum haul on this boat represents a big breakthrough in the 56 m concepts for the brand. With a new look specially for being more angular, with aggressive lines, and a completely new distribution on deck.

The dutch owner chose the fi rm Foster & Landa Partners located in London for the interior architecture, which makes it the fi rst time for the brand and the prestigious fi rm working together.

New Generation

The design of the Salute aside from its single mast configuration being highly technologic, it also has a very wide area on deck. The deck access and sunbathing areas is through a staircase located aft.

Due to this fact, the deck becomes a single and very large area from aft to stern where one can enjoy complete privacy. To stern there’s a crosspiece that bends revealing a staircase which gives access to the swimming platform area, completing this way the “Port” platform and can also be accessed through the lazarrete.

Als, the swimming platform can be used to get in or off any of the water toys aboard Salute like the 6.2 m “Tender”, two Yamaha Jet Skis, Water Skis, Seabobs, infl atables and fi shing gear, all of this to make your day unforgettable.

The Young family of owners also requested that the setting for the deck would be similar to the “Galaxia”, a 52m boat from Perini Navi delivered in 1997, where the fresh and spacious social area, allows it to be a third dining area on the outside, besides the one in the interior and the one at stern.

The 60 m social area can be easily and quickly covered by crystal walls, protecting its guests from the wind and breeze, thanks to it’s unique and new elevator system. Franco Romani, brand’s main designer integrated this feature with a very fresh touch of Salute’s superstructure using lines and esthetic that define the new generation of Perini Navi.

On the interior the Salute offers: the owner’s suite, three VIP rooms, and two more for guests. The owner chose Remi Tessier for the interior designing of the Salute, his third time working with Perini Navi.

Remi’s work has been highly recognized and awarded in the yatch industry, thanks to his ability to combine space with a sensation of freedom and purity, finding the true composition of a certain space and adding a fresh feeling to it, thanks to the custom made furniture. This is the philosophy of a man honoring the unique and exclusive spirit of each place, always wanting to turn beauty into something usable and turning it into everyday’s reality.

Remi Tessier was inspired on a family atmosphere for this boat, the young owners wanted something natural and pure on the interior, resulting in something elegant, comfortable, cozy, pure and sophisticated, with a slight touch of Japanese style to create a luxurious minimalism, ideal for a yatch dedicated to family and friends.

Wooden ceilings with ebony panels, theca floors with ebony inserts, marble, natural leather, a silk and cotton carpet, silver sheets and stainless steel are most of the components of the inner atmosphere’s soul.
