Created by an international team of engineers and designers that includes Van Peteghem Lauriot Prevost of Naval Architects, Richard Hein Design for the interior design and Olivier Gibault of Igloo Architecture for the interior design, the 63 foot (19 meter) Sophie catamaran motor yacht was launched this May.

This innovative catamaran motor yacht Sophie 63’ offers 145 m2 (approximately 1560 square foots) of space to “live” with a plethora of options for those who love to live life at sea, which include:

• A 4-cabin version, each equipped with bathroom, shower, dressing table, air conditioning, Internet and audio/video connections and wooden floors.

• The owner’s version with two VIP cabins with Queen Size beds and a magnificent Master Suite with a 180° sea view.

This extraordinary catamaran motor yacht from the Sophie Yachts company offers comfort and plenty of space for living life to the full, as well as exceptional natural light and stability.

Elegant, comfortable, with plenty of light, but above all spacious, the Sophie 63 ‘ offers a much larger area and more abundant proportions than the classic motor yacht. The living area includes a magnificent owner’s cabin and spacious guest cabins, as well as an extensive storage area.

The convertible rear deck has an integral bimini on rollers to avoid excessive sun, and another appreciable feature is the removable dip pool platform for the delight of passengers.

This catamaran office to performance alternatives:

• “Fast Cruiser”, powered by two Caterpillar C18 1015 HP engines, which allow a maximum speed of 26 knots and a cruising speed of 22 knots.

• “Long Range”, powered by two C9 Caterpillar 505 HP engines that allow transatlantic auto-nomy at a speed of 10 knots.
