ISA 120 developed this project aimed at meeting the requirements of yacht owners who love sporting elegance and enjoy large exterior spaces on open yachts, together with the usual interior comforts of a cruiser.
The architectural structure of the M/Y Midnight Sun II has been conceived to improve the relationship with the environment and enlarge the deck areas in contact with the water and exposed to the sun.
The main deck has a complete side window that runs to the stern with two semi-circular sliding doors that when opened, transform the cabin into a natural continuation of the lounge. The swimming platform is easy accessible from the bridge and the sun deck down a gently sloping continuous stairway.
The sun deck is divided into different areas according to the activities for which it was conceived. Forward of the windshield there are two sofas with a wonderful view. Further forward, there is a jacuzzi and a fully equipped bar area connected to the galley.
Interiors
On the lower deck there are three guest cabins under double cabin, as well as a room that serves as an office that can be converted into a cabin with a queen size bed. Forward on this deck, there is a VIP cabin equipped with all comforts, a king size bed, plasma TV screen, two sofas, a dressing room, a bathroom and a desk. This cabin is usually used by the yacht’s owner.
Access to the main lounge is through a semicircular door and there is a dining area with a 1800 view and a round table that seats 8 to 12 diners. For the forward, there is a bar and behind it, a hidden access to the crew cabins. Further forward of the main lounge, there is a TV room with a 50” plasma TV screen.
The remainder of the main deck is dedicated to the owner’s suite. On the first deck, there is a king- size bed in the center, with two chaise lounges and two desks either side, one of which is a dressing table. The central unit opposite the bed has a 42” plasma TV screen. Further back, there is a large bathroom at a slightly lower level. In summary, this yacht is equipped to offer the maximum pos- sible comfort.
