Turning the Extraordinary to Standard
Luxury yachts are designed to meet specific client needs and only a small number of yacht builders are able to satisfy them. One of the most distinguished competitors in this segment is the German company KaiserWerft GmbH. For this company and its clients, special requirements are the rule, turning the extraordinary into a standard. To be congruent with this philosophy of life, KaiserWerft uses the best materials for its yachts and their exclusive interiors.
The company has a selection of super yachts that form part of its “Baron” family. Its most recent launch in this family is the 40.5 meter (133 foot) “Catwalk”, unveiled at the last Dusseldorf Boat Show. The vessel can be extended to 42 meters in length thanks to its sliding swimming platform.
The hull of the Baron Catwalk is constructed of fiberglass and despite being a more expensive material, offers many benefits in comparison to conventional steel constructions. Fiberglass is light, while the same time robust and requires minimum maintenance.
This is KaiserWerft’s largest yachts and its design includes a catwalk from bow to stern, made from the finest materials and forms a unique and unusual concept of progressive space. The yacht has six guest cabins and four additional crew cabins, which in total can accommodate up to 12 guests and six crew members comfortably. The yacht is also equipped with a top-quality Bang & Olufsen entertainment center.
Catwalk’s interior design concept includes stucco walls and fabrics in harmony with Oak and African zebrawood. The yacht benefits from any designed with high ceilings, especially in the entrance to the lobby, located amidships, which reaches a height of 3 meters.
The observation lounge has large windows and is linked to the VIP and guest cabins by a stairway. The large master suite on the main day includes a Nautilis, a unique an unusual seat at three different levels in the bow area.
The penthouse, located in the sky lounge is fitted out like discotheque. Its floor is made of highly-durable oak panels. The sunbathing area has three snack tables, and includes a jacuzzi, various sunbeds and a sunshade.
