A pleasant surprise
Born from the talent of two young innovators – Montie Twining and Greg Marshall - the Calixas 105’ is the result of a 20-year long friendship and a mix of the creative forces for the former and the experience as a naval architect of the latter.
As a result, the design concept of the yacht centers the large, round jacuzzi, a BBQ grille, a bar with wine cooler, a fridge with an ice maker and a dining area for 6 below the bridge, making it a great place to spend day or night time outdoors.
Entering the lounge from the covered deck at the stern leads us to the games club or meeting room, austerely designed, but sober and elegant, it offers an extraordinary use of space, with double counters as a wet-bar for the lounge, as well as for serving snacks.
The same area boasts a projector with a screen that lowers in front of the entrance from the stern to create a sea-going movie theater to entertain guest.
The galley is equipped to satisfy all culinary desires, with a quartz counters and walnut veneer cabinets. With enough space to work, double fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a restaurant style double oven and a stove with multiple burners.
Between the galley and the owner’s cabin, there is a dining room for 10, designed with elegant and sober details with a granite table top and stainless steel chairs, the floor is carpeted throughout and is ready for all formal or business dinners.
In the forward part of the yacht, the main cabin is spacious and has a central king-size bed. The cabin has twin dressers and a 42” flat screen TV at the foot of the bed, as well as twin basins for greater comfort.
The fully-carpeted VIP cabin is located on the lower deck and has a central queen-size bed and a tiled bathroom, as well as twin basins.
There are two more cabins on the lower deck, one in front of the other. Carpeted and with individual bathrooms, they have large wardrobes, bedside lamps and doors with mirrors.
There is a total of five barrooms on the lower deck: one VIP, two for guests and two for the crew. To sum up, this exceptional yacht represents luxury and simplicity at the same time to enjoy a voyage with all possible amenities and comforts.
