The Best of Technology for comfort
If the Atlantis 55 of Gobbi S.P.A. achieved great success, then much more is expected of the Atlantis 50, which will be officially launched next spring.
Designed by the Gobi boat yard, architect Carlo Galeaza, in collaboration with the boatyard’s style department, is constructing a World Boat vessel that brings together innovation and traditional elements.
This new model is being produced using the “infusion” lamination system, which is a vacuum system developed by the Azimut Research and Development Center in collaboration with the Swiss company DIAB.
This method achieves uniform resin distribution, which increases the structural resistance of the hull.
On the exterior, the tender is located on a wood platform to afford more cabin space, which consists of a large C-shaped sofa and another L-shaped sofa.
The areas completed with a wooden table and a cabinet containing a washbasin and a fridge.
The Atlantis 50 is powered by 715 hp DR Volvo Penta Common Rail engines with axle transmission. The hard top, which is made of glass to provide UV protection is no barrier between the boat and the sky and offers an incredible feeling of space.
Gobi has chosen warm tones and quality materials for the interior design that distributed between three cabins and two bathrooms. The owner’s cabin, which features a double bed and a private bathroom is located in the bow, whereas the guest’s cabin is located in the stern and has a very similar atmosphere to the owner’s cabin thanks to the double bed and the relative height of the cabin, unusual for vessels of this length, which usually have two cabins each with a single bed.
After the VIP cabin, we find a third cabin with two single beds.
The second bathroom use by these cabins is accessed from the guest cabin and the lounge.
The lounge is characterized by the design of the wooden laminates and the contrast of materials. The lounge has an L-shaped sofa for six and a large table. The galley is located to port following the tradition of the Company’s other models.
The large-dimension windows that surround the lounge are another distinctive feature that characterize the Atlantis vessels and that allow the light to flood in.
