No two are the same
The Lagoon 570 is made for long-distance voyages, for this reason it offers excellent comfort and all that is necessary to experience the pleasures on navigation. The Lagoon 570 replaces the eldest multihull sailboat of the line: the Lagoon 55/57, which, after more than ten years of service, takes a well-deserved rest.
Lagoon was created in 1984 as a direct extension of the Jeanneau racing division (Jeanneau Advanced Technologies). As of 1995, Lagoon belongs to the Custom
Yacht division of the world's largest and most successful recreational boatbuilder - the Beneteau Group headquartered in Bordeaux, France. What causes the line of Lagoon catamarans to be so successful and desirable is the perfect work that is carried out by its eminent team of designers, builders and suppliers.
Lagoon offers an exclusive choice of cruising catamarans with major architectural contributions coming from the world-renowned naval architects Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prevost. Lagoon has also proven itself in the realm of custom monohulls and racing multihulls, whose overall list of victories remains unequaled by any other boatbuilder to this day.
The tremendous success of its new designs and the significant improvements in quality, aesthetics and performance led to the introduction of the new Lagoon 570 model.
Replacing a legend is difficult and, after 8,000 hours of research, the new model is ready for sea.
It has more sail area, more interior space, better solar protection and better performance, all the while preserving the best qualities of its predecessor.
Its marvelous naval architecture features an extraordinary balance between the cockpit and the saloon, with a panoramic view available from both the interior and exterior.
The interiors are dazzling, thanks to the use of precious woods in the furniture, and its cutting-edge technology guarantees a firstclass navigation.
The helm station is located on the portside with ample visibility in all directions. Teakwood steps lead to the water’s edge for swimming and diving. The rear deck provides ample space for outdoor dining in the shade of a large bimany. There is walking area, between the two hulls, with safety rails along the edges. There is plenty of room for sunbathing on the prow and on the carefully placed safety nets between the hulls. Here, you can feel the wind in your face as the cat sails at full speed across the waves. The 80 foot main mast rises from the front end of the saloon to spread more than 1,100 square feet of canvas. Also available is a Genoa and a staysail.
Stepping into the main saloon we enter a world of minimalist elegance, which includes a variety of finishings depending on the taste of the owner. Light streams through the windows, which provide 360° visibility.
An oval dining table for six takes up the center with a comfortable living area on the starboard and forward sides. On the port side is a navigator’s desk with all the newest equipment available in the market.
Below, inside the hulls, is the fully equipped kitchen and the cabins for the owner and guests, each with well designed storage space and complete bathrooms. A fundamental detail: no two Lagoon 570's are the same, each one is an original from stem to stern. The interior layout can be rearranged in different combinations to suit the tastes and needs of the owner
