The Insignia of a Brand
When discussing this shipbuilder’s incursion into the field of big boats, this yacht could be considered the brand’s flagship. This term, commonly used in the world of automobiles, refers to a “new” model and, in some cases, a bigger or better one. This is no exception. The new Sea Ray 680 Sun Sport is the biggest boat manufactured by Sea Ray, a company dedicated mainly to building smaller recreational boats for skiing and fishing.
The interior, which has many details in wood and a clean, cozy distribution, features three cabins, with ample space for five people. Its two decks have everything that exigent sailors require. The main, or lower, deck is where the recreation facilities are located as well as the command center with two chairs and a wonderful panoramic view.
Also on this deck is the kitchenette with a double-burner stove, Sub Zero refrigerator, sink and several shelves for storing appliances and provisions. On the other side is the living room with a large sofa for four and a love seat set around a fin-shaped (triangular) table, all facing the stern, and a complete entertainment center with satellite TV, BOSE Surround Sound, VCR, DVD and CD systems and a 42” plasma screen.
Also on this deck are the three cabins. Two are quite large and have a complete bathroom, double bed and ample closets. The other is smaller and has a half bathroom and a single bed. The three cabins have a TV (20” in the larger rooms and 13” in the smaller cabin) and all have a DVD.
The upper deck has a dining room and another perfectly distributed command center which is high up and affords great visibility. This pleasant area can be illuminated with natural light, thanks to its sliding roof. At the end of the deck, in the prow, is an outdoor couch that allows passengers to fully enjoy the experience of being on the sea, far from the coast.
Its dimensions and excellent design make this an attractive yacht with well-balanced, cozy, and functional spaces.
