Club de Golf Avándaro

This course, located in Valle de Bravo, State of Mexico, is unique thanks to the weather, which keeps the course green and in ideal playing conditions. The 18-hole, par 72 course was designed by the renowned architect Percy Clifford. To make it more competitive and interesting for the average golfer, it was redesigned and improved in past years by Grupo Avándaro. Now, the player can enjoy a sufficiently difficult game that requires his or her concentration on every stroke while being rewarded with the clean air, rich in the aromas of pine and flowers, and the gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains, all under the shade of huge leafy trees.   

Club de Golf Avándaro’s great variety of facilities, both indoors and out, satisfy every taste and expectation. Those who are just starting out can sign up for a clinic on the practice tee which serves as an introduction to the sport in a setting that, thanks to its design, allows the use of every club in the bag.    

 

 

Rancho Avándaro 

A few minutes from Club de Golf Avándaro is the Rancho Avándaro Country Club, an 18-hole, par 72 course carved from a pine forest. The course was designed by Grupo Avándaro.

The landscape features very special greens that test the abilities of those golfers who claim to have total control over their putting.

 

 

The development is built on a 120 hectare (296 acres) spread which means that, in addition to the golf course set in a forest environment with streams and lakes, it is surrounded by a Mexican-style residential development with wooden trim, slanted red tile roofs, niches and fine ironwork designs, giving it a very special touch.  

It also features other sports installations like an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a beautiful, comfortable, full-service Clubhouse.
