The Sailboat of Yopur Dreams
It is a truly beautiful sailboat, both inside and out.
Seen from the outside, the breadth of the full rigging makes it look very imposing as well as elegant. It has a very sporty look, but that does not detract from it being comfortable, even luxurious, and the details and refinement are obvious wherever you look.
Contrary to what comes to mind when one imagines a sailboat, compared to a motor-powered yacht, I would have to say that the former is more spacious than the latter and that, above all, lovers of this sport enjoy it more. It is a question of tastes, since a sailboat requires much more attention than a yacht.
With regard to the Sun Odyssey 54 DS be assured that it is any sailor's dream. It incorporates everything that was good about its predecessor, the Sun Odyssey 43 DS. with a new resolve on the part of Jeanneau to deliver, together with Jacques Faurous (a naval architect) and Vittorio Garroni (designer of the interior), a boat with excellent features, as well as with the space necessary to house all the technology that is required for modern navigation. For the command post they have thought of comforts that might seem insignificant, but are not. like Persian blinds to protect from the strong sun that we usually encounter on sea voyages.
This vessel comes in three models (with 3. 4 or 5 cabins), providing space for 8 to 16 passengers. Wood finishes are fundamental both in the interior and the exterior. The excellent combination of textures (textiles, woods, colors and design), that inject life into the staterooms, are quite remarkable. The cabins are comfortable, austere to a certain point, designed for relaxation, with the exception of the main stateroom, which is quite roomy.
In the communal area, the main table is located starboard and just in front of it is the living room. On the same side, but towards the stern, is the spacious kitchen that has everything you need for preparing countless gourmet dinners. Outside there is a table, set just in front of the two exterior rudders, which
makes it very versatile since it can be used as a dining or work table or simply for auxiliary purposes.
Seeing this vessel in action is a delight for the eyes. Its incredibly stylized form takes us back to the beginning of navigation and its beautiful blue hull evokes the colors of the open sea, where this vessel finds itself in its element.
