Nordic Tradition and Speed

This beautiful sailboat is built by a shipyard that, like many others, is a family business. It was founded at the end of the 1950s to meet the needs of a few and, thanks to its quality, its reputation traversed borders. The Siltala brand traveled from Europe to America to boast about its sailboats that are available in two options: those geared to relaxation and those designed for competition (greater speed).

Siltala vessels have become famous because of the speeds they can reach, combined with traditional Finnish techniques and cutting edge technology that take advantage of the culture and know-how of a country with a long nautical tradition.

Because it is the biggest they have built to date, the Nauticat 515 is the brand’s insignia boat.

On the exterior, its impressive mast serves to hold up a 126 m2 (1356 square foot) main sail, not to mention the auxiliaries, and the subtle lines both in the boat's length and width show the sportiness of this vessel, even to the untrained eye. It is filled with light materials for greater speeds and unequaled performance.

Inside, the d&cor and finishes are very cozy thanks to magnificent combination of woods and textiles. An important point—and one that the Siltala people brag about—is that every boat complies with its client's specifications (personalization).

There are two options for the distribution of the interior. One provides space for nine people, with four staterooms, all with single beds, except the master stateroom that has a double bed. The other option is for six people, distributed among three spacious staterooms, one astern and another in the bow. with
single beds, and another midship, to port, behind the living room. Every inch of space is utilized in the staterooms, with cabinets, drawers and additional storage areas.

The kitchen features everything necessary to prepare delicious meals, as well as sufficient space to store cooking ingredients until needed. It is totally equipped, with an oven and a two-burner stove, as well as other features.

Either of the two distribution options is recommendable. In both cases, comfort is guaranteed, as well as beauty and the warmth provided by the wood, which is mostly teak. To assure good handling, the sailboat is equipped with all the technological innovations available, an interesting number of automatic devices, as well as all the elements that guarantee a precise position and almost uninterrupted communication with
ports and other vessels (GPS. UHF radio, etc.)
