Royalty on water

Speeding across the waters at a comfortable 27 to 32 knots (depending on the choice of Volvo Penta twin engines), this sleek 50 foot yacht is a marvel of yacht design, fitting many features into spaces that larger vessels have trouble making room for. The design includes deep V sections forward coupled with a weight distribution system designed to minimise vertical acceleration, enabling speed to be maintained comfortably in less than ideal conditions. Due to her long waterline length and advanced propeller tunnels, she demonstrates new levels of efficiency for this class.

The Princess name is synonymous with a fleet that includes the most advanced range of performance motor yachts. Built without compromise, they are all built dedicated to the enjoyment of total boating experience. The incredible P-50, represents the very best in fast, fly-bridge motor yacht design.

Below, the P-50 features two beautifully meshed large staterooms, as well as a twin berth guest cabin and a single berth crew cabin can be fitted aft as an option. An alternative layout, wherein the aft stateroom can have a double bed in place of the two single beds, is also available.

This luxury yacht is fitted with a 7kw diesel generator, allowing her spacious kitchen to be all electric, with a 3 burner ceramic stove top, microwave conventional oven and a very large under-the-counter fridge. There is also a cleverly designed utility area with space for an optional washer/dryer. We enter the main salon via triple-opening stainless-steel framed doors and we are immediately faced with the comfort of pristine white seating areas framed by cherrywood paneling. Forward is the cockpit, which offers two swivel bucket seats that allow the captain and his mate to join in the salon activities without taking their eyes off the state of the art instrument panel.

On deck, the accent is on safety, practicality and space. Her large fly-bridge and teak decked cockpit, wide side decks and large swimming platform, with stowage for a tender or jet-ski, make this beauty the ideal place to spend leisure time out doors. The tender can be lowered into the water either by a concealed transom crane or an electro-hydraulic passerelle.

The low profile and beautiful styling of the Princess 50 gives some indication of things to come but the new standards set by this craft have to be seen and experienced, to be fully appreciated. The Princess 50 establishes a new standard for a family who, with occasional guests, wish to enjoy rapid long-range cruising in royal comfort. It’s on the move that this beauty is perhaps most impressive. With her powerful bow thruster and electronic engine controls, she is easy to manoeuvre.
