Cutting-Edge Design and Bicentennial Tradition

TThe Italian shipyard Riva has been in business since 1842, and for almost 200 years, the brand has made a name for itself as part of Ferretti Group, with a strong presence in the most important international yacht shows all over the world. With their extensive experience and expertise, they have released some of the best sports yachts in the market, each with increased perfor-mance, the latest trends in both interior and exterior design, and high-end technology.

The Riva 100’ Corsaro, recently exhibited at the Cannes Yachting Show, is the definition of evolu-tion for the yard. It’s the successor of many incredible previous models that were already exem-plary, and yet, the Corsaro manages to offer enhanced design, space and technology while sta-ying true to Riva’s values and philosophy. The vessel’s sharp lines, aerodynamic profile and spearhead bow blend into an aggressive, sporty exterior look.

Officina Italiana Design was responsible for the motor yacht’s interiors. Livability, comfort, luxury and open spaces are the most outstanding features, with panoramic views and plenty of natural light. The main salon, on the main deck, can be transformed into an uninterrupted space through sliding doors that unify the indoor L shaped lounge and dining area with the outdoor leisure spa-ce to entertain guests, featuring a balcony portside and vast windows that stretch along the su-perstructure. The 30-meter accommodates up to 10 guests in five cabins, including the full-beam master suite with a walk-in closet, forward on the main deck, plus three double cabins with en-suite bathroom and a twin cabin belowdecks.

Starboard on the main deck, we find the galley, breakfast area and access to the impressive wheelhouse that boasts carbon fiber control panels up in the fully customizable flybridge, with a glass structure that keeps wind and sun outside and provides shade and comfort for guests, with a bar, dining space and lounge. Aft the flybridge, we find an additional control station and out-door living spaces that include an L shaped lounge that can double as dining space, and lounge chairs for sunbathing.

The Corsaro is dynamic and reliable, outfitted with twin MTU 16V 2000 M93 engines that produce 1,792kW each, reaching a top speed of 26 knots and a cruising speed of 23 knots.
