A Song for the Seas
When you see a megayacht built with the craftsmanship, expertise and dedication of a shipyard like AMELS, you know you stand before a masterpiece. It’s then unquestionable why the Owners, who have been yacht owners for the last decade and whose previous vessel was nonetheless the AMELS 65-metre IMAGINE, would stick to the Dutch yacht builder to create their new home-away-from-home: the magnificent AMELS Here Comes the Sun.
Her long deck spaces set a tone that develops gracefully with what I see as athletic feminine curves.
-Tim Heywood
This 83-meter is the definition of luxurious living, with family-oriented spaces and outstanding performance. The sleek exterior was developed in a close collaboration between renowned designer Tim Heywood and the Owners, with a color scheme that highlights the yacht’s natural beauty. With stunning panoramic views, Here Comes the Sun’s indoor and outdoor spaces bring comfort for guests ready to enjoy family time either in the impressive dining areas, the cinema, the wellness center, the pool on the main deck, or the beach club, which opens on three sides. On the sun deck we find a jacuzzi and a lounge area, perfect for evening celebrations. The grand central staircase and elevators, along with contemporary custom interiors by Winch Design, are the epitome of luxury and style.
The vessel accommodates up to 18 guests comfortably in nine suites that include two Owner suites and two VIP cabins.
Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Here Comes the Sun features renowned AMELS naval architecture to ensure outstanding seakeeping and maneuverability with the highest comfort. The ship is powered by twin X CATERPILLAR 3516C engines that allow a cruising speed of 12.5 knots and reach a maximum speed of 17.5 knots with a range of 5500 NM.
AMELS Here Comes the Sun is an outstanding vessel thought for comfort, leisure and luxury, with elegant lines and ample interiors. And just like the Beatles’ song, Here Comes the Sun is a harmony—a song in perfect sync with the ocean beneath her.
When you look around, you are always discovering details of intricate craftsmanship: the touch of open grain patterns and ribbed oak, sculpted textures under foot, spoke-shaved curves above you, honed stone and marbles. It’s very much a place to relax. A home.
