Ferretti Group offered exclusive launches at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2021.
Ferretti Group’s Made in Italy design excellence was exhibited during the Fort Lauderdale Inter-national Boat Show 2021, with 12 yachts by the Italian company, four exhibited for the first time to the U.S. public.
The Ferretti Group fleet included the premieres of the Pershing 6x, Ferretti Yachts 1000, Ferretti Yachts 780 and Riva 88’ Folgore. Also on display were the representative models: Ferretti Yachts 720 and Ferretti Yachts 920. As well as Rivamarine, Dolceriva and 506’ Rivadale by Riva; Pershing 7X and Pershing 8x, and 48wallytenderX by Wally.
The 12 boats have been the attraction of Mediterranean boat shows, and the Bahia Mar Resort & Yachting Center in Florida, venue of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) was no exception. Visitors were fascinated by the Italian yacht design.
The U.S. market is very important for the Ferretti Group, which is why last year they acquired a shipyard in Fort Lauderdale to expand their refurbishment and after-sales service operations in the U.S.A., supported by their exclusive distributor, Allied Marine.
Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group, said that 2021 has been exciting after successful tours at European shipyards. Following the presentation of the Ferretti fleet in the U.S.A., they hope to consolidate their presence and service to their local customers. "That's why, at this year's show, we feel right at home."
Ferretti Yachts 1000
The Italian shipyard's new flagship yacht is the Ferretti Yachts 1000, the largest ever built by the Group. It is 98 ft long with a beam of almost 22 ft and capacity for 20 passengers. Composite materials and carbon fiber parts were used in its construction, accentuating the high technology applied in the entire construction process, resulting from thousands of hours of research and development of the Italian brand.
The interiors can be chosen by the customer, either Classic style featuring a balance of tones and subtle contrasts, or Contemporary, with fresher and bolder colors.
The model presented at FLIBS introduces two engine options: the MTU 16V 2000 M86, that develops a top speed of 24 knots and 20 crusing speed; the second option, the MTU 16 2000 M96L engine, deploys 28 knots of top displacement and cruising speed of 24 knots.

Pershing 6X
The bold side of the Ferretti Group was evident in the Pershing 6X, a collaboration between the design of the Ferretti Group's Product Strategy Committee, headed by Fulvio De Simoni, and the Ferretti Group's Engineering Department.
The model exhibited at FLIBS stands out for its aerodynamic profile and the large, glazed surfaces of the hull that flood the large salon with natural light, characterized by the front windows and the dark-toned glass roof; the lower deck and rooms also benefit from the design, being illuminated by daylight.
At nearly 62 ft long and 15 ft wide, this yacht includes the best of Pershing's cutting-edge technology, resulting in a speed of 48 knots, coming from twin 1,550 hp MAN V12 engines, overpowered by a host of state-of-the-art control and steering technologies.

Ferretti Yachts 780
Recently redesigned, this 78 ft flybridge yacht has an aerodynamic design and sleek lines, ideal to satisfy the owner's desires for comfort, style, seaworthiness, and safety at sea. Thanks to the large, glazed hull surfaces, the interior lighting is natural, giving it an elegant aerodynamic profile and a sportier look.
The interiors are ideal for accommodating 20 passengers and were redesigned with the possibility of choosing between a pair of styles: Classic or Contemporary, each with perfectly defined tones, to suit the owner's taste. Powered by MAN V12-1400 engines, it has a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots; with the MAN V12.1550 engine, it reaches a speed of 31 knots and 27 in cruising.

Riva 88’ Folgore
The Riva 88' Folgore yacht is the result of the partnership between Officina Italiana Design (studio founded by Mauro Micheli with Sergio Beretta) and the Product Strategy Committee, headed by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
Heir to one of the brand's best-selling models, this sport-fly of almost 88 ft presents firsts in exterior and interior design, with ergonomic details and materials such as carbon fiber, mahogany inlays, and steel. In short, it symbolizes the synthesis of the brand's innovative vision and legendary style.
It is available with two different engines: MTU 16V 2000 M96, for a performance of 36 knots as maximum speed and 30 knots in cruising, and with the MTU 16V 2000 M96L engine, developing 38 knots as maximum power and 32 knots in cruising.
