Until the nineteenth century the only way to reach the town was by boat or narrow paths. The access between the houses and the lake was granted by a footbridge over the attics of the inhabitant’s home. The first major road was built in 1890 by the West through the rock. However, things have changed for this Austrian village, which has several places of interest such as: their archaeological excavations, the salt mines, and its parishes and churches
