Last year India hosted its first pavilion at the Venice Biennale. This year the country inaugurates its own biennale. It will feature contemporary painting, cinema, sculpture, new media and performances by Indian and international artists. The city of Kochi will host events at the Kashi Art Café, a restaurant-gallery-garden-cafe.
