The Kempinski Hotel Moika 22 is housed in a Petersburg mansion, designed by Basil von Witte in 1853, during the reign of Tsar Nicholas I. The classical façade of the building has been faithfully retained, while the interior has been entirely reconstructed, and decorated with antiques of the period, to provide the ultimate in hotel accommodation.

The view from the windows of the Moika River Executive Suite can rightly be called one of the most famous in the world, namely the Hermitage Museum in Palace Square. Inside, the suite is absolutely the last word in luxury, with elegant proportions and superb classical furnishings.

Peter the Great wanted his new capital to be a ‘Window on the West’, and the hotel looks onto one of the city’s most famous sights – Palace Square and the State Hermitage Museum. The hotel is just two minutes’ walk from Nevsky Prospect, and is close to all major sights and shopping; Pulkovo Airport is only thirty minutes away.

The hotel has 23 suites and 174 rooms, a bar and tea room with a living fireplace, a French restaurant, a wine cellar and the panoramic restaurant Bellevue Brasserie, which unique location on the ninth floor of the hotel makes it one of the most awe-inspiring places in the whole of St Petersburg. The Relaxation Center on the terrace of the ninth floor comprises a fitness room and a spa area.
