Seven Dazzling Years Under the Parisian Sky
The famous palace reopened its doors in December 1999, following two years of remodelation. Under the administration of the Four Seasons, and after seven years, the George V has confirmed its status as the “king of palaces” and is regarded as the finest hotel in Paris; the one that stands out and offers the refinement that the most beautiful city in the world deserves.
Jeff Leatham is one of the stars of the hotel. He has an enormous budget at his disposal and uses flowers to create magic scenarios, playing with long stems and huge vases, upending the heads of calla lilies so they are submerged in the water, arranging floating orchids and scattering forms, colors and volumes with extreme elegance.
The other luminary has three dazzling stars: the luxurious and elegant Le Cinq restaurant. Because of its marvelous décor, it is a window to a time long bygone age and it tempts diners to enjoy the dishes of Philippe Legendre, one of the most renowned chefs of Paris. He has received various awards and presents amazing dishes created by his imagination and artistry.
The hotel´s most appealing offer preserves its homely feeling. It features 245 rooms where the discreet details allow guests to feel completely at ease.
The palace runs like clockwork; everything is precise and each detail is meticulous. A case in point is the business center, which offers comfort blended with kindness, excellent service provided by La Galerie, the express restaurant decorated with 18th century tapestries.
The Spa, with its swimming pool, massage service, Jacuzzi, sauna and hamam, is where peace found its temple. It is a charming place in which to relax from the hustle and bustle of Paris and reco ver health. From the lobby, with its soft décor in tones of beige, guests can discover the reigning tranquility that invites them to enjoy the beauty of its patio and bar. The George V is a palace fit for a king where guests can enjoy its elegance and refinement.
