Esperanza Resort offers 50 luxury rooms and six private villas, all with terraces and views of the Sea of Cortez. The rooms are decorated in an elegant, laid-back Baja style, featuring original art and handmade furniture with elegant touches.

Its restaurant follows the Auberge tradition offering magnificent, sophisticated cuisine. Carved into the cliffs above the Sea of Cortez, the restaurant features three levels of stone terraces that flow from a thatched roof circular palapa. The menu has Mediterranean influences and blends local ingredients and regional flavors.

 

 

Complementing the menu is an extensive list of wines from France, Australia, Latin America (including several from the vineyards of Baja) and California, as well as a tequila menu which offers over 100 selections, including several expressly chosen to be enjoyed with dessert. Adjacent to the restaurant is the Palapa Bar, which offers interior and exterior seating with a view of the sea. The bar serves a variety of aperitifs and light meals. In the afternoon, it features an extensive menu of tequilas and cigars. Located in the residential club, the Palapa Grill is the place for outdoor dining, amazing views, an open kitchen and a bar, in the water, which serves daily breakfasts and dinners.

There are also special events. Every Wednesday night you can join the “Carnavalísimo” on the Esperanza beach or, if you prefer, check out the Mexican Nights, on Thursdays, where you can enjoy yourself over a casual dinner.

As a guest of Esperanza Resort, you can enjoy more than 100 types of Mexico’s most sophisticated, pure agave tequilas, including those expressly created to accompany dessert or a cigar.

 

One of the attractions is the Spa, which incorporates unique elements and characteristics of water, the desert and the sea, including a temascal (Aztec steam bath) and interior waterfalls, outdoor swimming pools and gardens. It features an ample variety of personal care options, restorative and health treatments and physical conditioning. It also has complete, advanced health care equipment including cardiovascular machines, stationary bikes, weights and more. In addition, there are personal trainers as well as private consultations. Men’s and women’s dressing rooms are equipped with showers and sauna.

The Land’s End room accommodates from 10 to 45 people and features an attractive stone terrace at the edge of the sea.
