The Moscow River crosses the city of Ivan the Terrible, creating an important port for flat-bottomed boats. The Kremlin dominates the banks with its high walls and the St. Basil Basilica holds its towers, with their colorful turbans, on high.  Moscow is a marvelous city with a special charm because it is in perpetual motion.
