This Hunan town in China is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a pearl that keeps its traditions, architecture, and landscapes intact. Its streets, dotted with Diaojiao homes, act as the backdrop to to the Tuo Jiang River, and the incomparable mountain range behind it. It is a remarkable landscape, frozen in time back when the Ming and Qing dynasties ruled the land. This place is also the home of ethnic groups such as Miao and Tujia.
