The Maximum Expression of Zimbabwe’s Selfless Spirit

As the ecotourism branch of this 130,000 hectare reserve, Singita Pamushana’s goal is to foment the sustainability of the wildlife of the region, in addition to offering an unforgettable experience for travelers inside the Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve. Singita Pamushana is inspired by the rich history of the local tribes, proud heritage of Zimbabwe. The hotel is perched atop a sandstone ridge overlooking the shimmering expanse of the Malilangwe Dam.

The hotel’s majestic architecture has always been the highlight of the property. Here we find patterns and shapes from the African continent and local cultures, mainly Shangaan, intertwined with contemporary décor.

The organic structures of the Singita Pamushana Lodge reflect the style of Great Zimbabwe. Thick walls, thatched roofs, and stonework are just a few of the eye-catching details. The hotel is divided into eight suites and five villas, all equipped with private pools and featuring panoramic views. The rooms are furnished with sockets and adaptors, yet travelers should know that, due to the hotel’s remote location, WiFi speed is less than ideal.

Singita Pamushana is, rather, a place to enjoy sports and outdoor activities—reason why the hotel is home to an excellent gym, spa, and outdoor pool. Of course, the real attraction here is the safari, where guests will be accompanied by professional tour guides deep inside the reserve to admire all kinds of wildlife. Those who prefer to be near the water can partake in fishing expeditions. At night, the staff will ensure that you and your family are accommodated in select areas of the reserve where the stars in the night sky shine without hindrance.

We also recommend taking a tour through the hotel’s wine cellar, which features some of the most coveted South African bottles.
