Gulfstream introduced the G800, the longest range business jet in its class, ideal for moving from continent to continent without wasting time and taking passengers anywhere in comfort without stopovers.
The G800 is designed to fly a maximum range of 8,000 nautical miles at a top speed of Mach 0.925. In addition, the aircraft offers the lowest cabin feel and the ability to combine up to four living areas. With this range, it can connect to more destinations worldwide than any other similar model.
Flying at maximum speed, users can save up to 1.5 hours on flights over 6,500 nm. The cabin is designed to allow travelers to work in comfort or, if they are traveling for pleasure, to relax and enjoy the trip. With this in mind, the cabin is elegantly designed for comfort and conviviality.
The comfortable cabin
Another advantage of the technology is the possibility to stay in a 100% fresh environment, renewed and purified every two or three minutes by a clean air system with plasma ionization. The 16 panoramic windows – the largest in the industry – allow natural light to flood in and provide an epic view of the world.
The cabin layout can be tailored to the owner's needs. It can be arranged in two rows for 19 passengers or divided into four areas for up to 17 passengers, seven of whom can sleep in a fully horizontal position. Another option is the placement of three exclusive areas and a compartment for the crew; with this configuration the number of travelers is 15, with seven seats that fold down in a completely horizontal position.
Efficient technology
Next-generation Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines combine with Gulfstream's aerodynamic wing and advanced avionics to propel the G800 to new destinations, faster, with impressive fuel efficiency.
Gulfstream leads the industry in sustainable innovation, from new aircraft technology to environmentally responsible practices, including the world's first transatlantic flight powered by engines using 100% sustainable aviation fuel.
Gulfstream's award-winning Symmetry Flight Deck has revolutionized commercial aviation with significant improvements in safety and efficiency. Active Control Sidesticks, an industry first, enhance non-verbal communication between pilots through tactile cues. With ten touchscreens, the most widely used in commercial aviation, it works in sync with phase-of-flight intelligence to reduce the number of switches in the cockpit.
The dual front displays feature Gulfstream's new Combined Vision System (CVS), which combines the Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS) and Synthetic Vision System (SVS) into a single image for enhanced pilot situational awareness and access to more airports.
