The mystique of geometry

 

To develop the concept of Octo, the Bvlgari enterprises resorted to values such as time, which have always accompanied humanity. The face of this watch is inspired by the shape of the octagon that historically has referred to concepts such as balance, harmony, power and eternity.

It is a formal and simple design, harmonizes with the values its architecture seeks to communicate. It is a piece that transcends mere functionalism, to access a higher instance, aesthetic and symbolic.

The mechanics of this jewel is animated by the Caliber BVL 193 which has at a rate of 4 Hz and has an operating reserve up to 50 hours. It features hands for hours, minutes, seconds and date window at 3 o’clock.

Its simplicity provides a strong personality to Octo leaving behind ordinary standards, to vindicate its position in space-time.
