Presented as the most powerful Lotus in the production history of the firm, we could say that this models seeks to be a phenomenon like Porsche’s Boxter. One aspect that will revolutionize this British firm, and not an easy one. Nevertheless, the Evora 400—plainly proving its worthiness in the Hethel circuit—could become a redeemer for Lotus thanks to its never before seen speed and levity. With an aerodynamic chassis that is 22kg lighter than the previous model, 400 CV powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine, new bumpers and less emissions, Evora can reach a speed of 100km/h in 4.1 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 300km/h. Furthermore, a limited edition Lotus Evora 400 Hethel Edition will be released to celebrate the 50th year of the firm’s existence.
