Astronomical Grand Complication 3600

TThe watchmaker brand Vacheron Constantin celebrates 262 years since its foundation with the launch of a unique watch: Les Cabinotiers Celestia Astronomical Grand Complication 3600. It is the result of five years of work by three teams: the master watchmaker, the development engineers and a designer. This master piece, built in a white gold case barely 45mm thick, has 23 astronomical complications incorporated to the main sphere, and at the back, they indicate three time systems: civil (universal mean time), solar (based on the apparent trajectory of the sun in the course of a day), and sidereal (astronomical time scale that is based on the rotation speed of the Earth). Its new caliber, 8.7 mm thick and comprised of 514 pieces, controls 20 functions, and its six barrels provide three weeks of autonomy. The perpetual calendar challenges the paradoxes of the Gregorian calendar, with only a date change every 400 years.
