Leading in EV Performance

“We wanted to design the world’s most desirable EV, and I’m confident we’ve met that challenge.”
Ian Callum, Jaguar Director of Design

The new era of electric vehicles (VE) has come, evolving each year with new projects and models that have taken over the roads. Jaguar is now presenting the new EV: the extraordinary I-PACE Concept, which will go into production virtually unchanged. Based in the UK, Jaguar Land Rover designed and engineered the I-PACE, which will be assembled by the automaker in Austria as part of a manufacturing partnership with Magna Steyr.

The exterior lines of the I-PACE Concept are dynamic and dramatic with bold proportions and a sleek coupé-like silhouette inspired by the Jaguar C-X75 supercar, visible in its sweeping front fenders and fine curves, as well as imposing 22-inch wheels. The interior design is all about detail with vibrant HD displays, touchscreens and capacitive switches that complement multi-function, haptic rotary controllers for an engaging, intuitive experience. The car is spacious with customized seats made either of fine-grain Windsor leather or a sustainable, premium alternative developed with Danish textile experts Kvadrat—a high quality material that combines a durable wool-blend with recycled technical suede cloth. The I-PACE also offers generous rear legroom and a variety of trays and storage compartments to improve comfort.
