Introduced as Canadian manufacturer Bombardier's flagship aircraft, the Bombardier 8000 business jet represents a new era in business jets, combining superior speed, range and comfort with the healthiest and most connected cabin in the industry.
After a series of exhaustive tests, the model boasts a top speed of Mach 0.94, the highest ever achieved in commercial aviation. It also has the longest range in its class: 8,000 nautical miles – enough to fly from Mexico City to Beijing.
The Nuage seat provides the sensation of weightlessness.
Customized layout
Its spacious cabin, 54 ft. 5 in long and 6 ft. 2 in high, allows the installation of three areas – the most spacious in the industry – and is the first open office cabin concept designed for corporate productivity. It includes a private crew suite, an isolated conference area for business meetings and the option to install a king-size bed.
For entertainment, it offers a home theater surround sound configuration with a 40-inch 4K screen and Bombardier's l'Opéra audio system, the first sound technology centered at each seat.
Inside, passengers can enjoy a clean environment thanks to Bombardier Pur Air with a hospital-grade HEPA filter, combined with the Soleil circadian lighting system that simulates daylight to help combat jet lag. With 27 light presets, the Soleil system allows the lighting sequence to be adjusted to suit travelers' preferences, whether they are working long hours or resting.

Comfortable flight
For comfortable long-haul flights, the cabin is designed to maximize comfort, health and productivity by providing the lowest altitude sensation in the industry: 2,900 ft. when you are actually flying at 41,000 ft.
For passengers, seats can become uncomfortable after hours of sitting, so Bombardier developed the Nuage seat, the first to provide the sensation of weightlessness by reducing pressure on the lower back, optimizing weight distribution and improving circulation. The secret is to provide the user with a neutral posture for optimal weight distribution.
In the cockpit, the crew can count on Bombardier Vision and next-generation fly-by-wire technology that combines state-of-the-art avionics, ergonomics and aesthetics for exceptional comfort and control. The cabin well-being extends to the crew, thanks to an accessible and well-appointed lounge area designed to maximize relaxation and privacy on long-haul flights.

With proven high-speed performance, the model can develop a top speed of Mach 0.94, making it the first ultra-high-speed transcontinental cruiser.
To achieve these speeds, Bombardier's FTV5 test jet made historic supersonic flights, paving the way for the development of the Global 8000, the first business jet to fly supersonic on SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) and the world's fastest since the Concorde, with a top speed of Mach 0.94.
Its innovative Smooth Flĕx Wing and GE Passport engines provide the longest range and shortest runway landings in all weather conditions. The secret lies in its design, which works like a pair of wings in one, with high lift for exceptional low-speed agility, and a high-speed wing for unmatched speed and range.
